The very slow-growing and column-shaped Green Pillar English holly is a female cultivar that produces red berries.

This is the classic holly species that you see decorating English winter landscapes and decorative holiday displays.

The glossy, dark green leaves of English holly trees have profoundly long, sharp undulating spines. They are pretty all year around but are most alluring in autumn and winter when their cheerful red berries appear.
