New leaves are red-maroon, and bright-pink flowers are produced from spring to summer.

Begins bearing macadamia nuts young and improves with age.

Brown nuts in a green husk are borne from summer to autumn.

Does not drop its own crop, so nuts must be picked by hand.

Partially self-fertile, but produces better crops when planted with another macadamia cultivar.
