SMARTGRO JUTE MATTING ROLLS

SmartGro Jute Mat is an environmentally-friendly choice for planting projects. Made of 100% natural jute fibres, the mat offers superior weed and erosion control. As landscapers, landowners and property developers seek natural alternatives in their planting projects, SmartGro Jute Mat is a perfect solution.

This popular matting acts as a mulch, providing moisture retention to support plant development and protect soil from erosion. Designed to break down over time, SmartGro Jute Mat is ideal for wetlands and riparian batters, garden and revegetating beds, and coastal and high-wind sites.

Features:
- Halts erosion, hugs the contours of the ground
- Reduces plant stress, retains moisture and soil temps, allows fertiliser to penetrate
- Acts as a roll-on mulch
- Excellent weed suppressant while plants establish (reducing herbicide use)
- Retains water
- No plastic mesh to tangle with wildlife or machinery
- Flexible, strong and stable, reinforced with tough jute-twine
